26 November 2019, Singapore – Professor Sattar Bawany is a seasoned executive coach, global leadership development practitioner and author of a powerful new book for the transformation of digital-driven future business leaders. Further building on his already impressive range of accomplishments, Prof Sattar Bawany, CEO of the Centre of Executive Education (CEE), has written and published the book “Transforming the Next Generation of Leaders: Developing Future Leaders for a Disruptive, Digital-Driven Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0)“.
With its unique framework that enables organizations to develop their high-potential executives, managers and even individual contributors, Transforming the Next Generation of Leaders has been endorsed by global thought leaders, including Dr Marshall Goldsmith, the world pre-eminent Executive Coach.
The acclaim has focused on Prof Bawany’s insightful approaches to nurturing a crop of leaders who can successfully navigate the digital and highly disruptive business environment. The strategies recommended in the book have been tested during his extensive hands-on experience as an executive coach to CEOs and C-suite leaders.
Prof Bawany draws from a deep pool of expertise spanning 30 years in international business management, including 20 years in executive coaching, group facilitation, and leadership development and training with leading global management consulting firms including Mercer HR Consulting, Hay Group and DBM.
“He is currently a member of the Advisory Panel of China-ASEAN Business Alliance (CABA) and the RHT G.R.A.C.E Institute, a social enterprise parented by RHT Rajan Menon Foundation, a registered charity and Grant-making Philanthropic Organization in Singapore.”
In the past two decades, he has taught international business strategies and human resources courses in various leading universities. He is presently an adjunct professor of leadership and until recently serves as a member of the advisory board of Curtin Graduate School of Business School (CGSB), Curtin Business School (CBS) of Curtin University, Western Australia, and concurrently an adjunct professor of strategy with Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM).
Prof Bawany also puts his advice to practice, guiding the executives and affiliate partners of his company, CEE, which is an award-winning and premier network for established human resource management and executive development consulting firms globally. Under his leadership, the company has forged global strategic partnerships with Executive Development Associates (EDA), International Professional Managers Association (IPMA), Action Management Associates Inc. (AMAI), as well as a network of affiliate partners across Asia Pacific region.
CEE’s strength lies in its close collaboration with consulting clients, which allows the latter to adapt various contemporary organizational development approaches to suit their very specific business situations in meeting the organizational and leadership challenges in today’s highly disruptive and digital-driven workplace.
CEE programmes focus on experiential and action-based learning design, which have resulted in strong and immediate results since participants can apply what they learn directly to their actual work situations.
According to Prof Bawany, he is driven by an intense passion to create working environments where employees are valued and emotionally engaged in the business, having spent years solving challenges in public and private organizations regionally and internationally.
He said the key is to begin the journey with the “end” in mind, then aligning people and culture to reach that shared goal, led by capable executives who are not afraid to drive transformational change.
